About
Sarah Lockwood has spent more than twenty years in marketing, first building and running independent advertising agencies in Denver and then bringing that operational discipline to podcasting. She co-founded Xylem CCI in 2001 and grew it from two people in a spare bedroom to a team of more than fifty designers, developers and marketers. She went on to Booyah Advertising, where she rose from Vice President, Creative Group Director to Vice President, Client Services and finally Chief Operating Officer.
In 2017 she founded Love Monday, a fractional executive consulting practice that gives founders and CEOs senior leadership capacity without a full time hire. The clients who kept coming back were entrepreneurs, coaches and authors with something worth saying and no marketing department to say it. Many of them wanted a podcast, and nearly all of them were being buried by the production work or let down by freelancers working without a plan.
HiveCast followed in 2020. The idea was one team that handles everything after the record button, ties the work to a business result, and charges a price an owner can justify. Six years on, the team has produced more than 5,000 episodes and launched hundreds of shows. Sarah leads HiveCast's strategy and runs its standalone six week coaching program for hosts who want their show to produce clients rather than just episodes. She is also, by her own admission, a New York Times games enthusiast.
